Self Portrait with Ice Cream and Candy started as a challenge to see how big this drawing would get in the month leading up to an exhibition at NE Sculpture Gallery in 2019. The initial sketch with spot colors would be shown in progress regardless of where I was at with the work. The first image below is a photo by Steven Lang on opening night. The rest are details from the finished work and process shots.
The finished work is 28’ x 5’ - Archival ink and color pencil on paper. Completed Jan. 3rd 2021 at 11:11 p.m.
